Babymarrow and Cheese Lasagna
Ingredients
- 12 lasagna sheet
- 5 baby marrow sliced lengthways, ribbons
- 300 g ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2.5 ml ground nutmeg
- 2.5 ml white pepper
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup grated parmasan
- 250 g mozzarella cheese grated
- 500 ml napoletana sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves only
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 180C.
- Mix ricotta, egg, 2/3 mozzarella, parmesan, white pepper, nutmeg, oregano and milk together till well combined.
- Butter/oil heat proof dish. Place lasagne sheets on base of dish, top with 1/3 baby marrows, 1/3 Napolitano sauce, 1/3 cheese mixture and a few basil leaves. Repeat another two times.
- Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and some dried oregano.
- Bake in the oven for approx. 30-45 minutes. Meanwhile make a salad of choice to serve with the Lasagne.
