Overly Ripe Tomatoes – Freeze them!

If you have too many tomatoes that you will not finish. Simply place the entire tomato into the freezer. Use them in stews or pasta sauces in place of canned tomatoes. The dishes will be more delicious and you will be avoiding waste.

How to use them?

Boil a kettle of water, cut a small incision in the tomatoes, pour the hot water over the frozen tomatoes, the skins will instantly come off. Remove skins and cut into frozen wedges. Add to your desired dish – they will defrost in minutes.
